  • 2 packs of vegan burgers with pumpkin and carrots
  • 4 large sweet potatoes
  • table salt
  • mixed spices

It is already mid-October and we are in the middle of a period when the summer holidays have long since been forgotten and the Christmas holidays are still too far away.  But this period also brings us some joy, especially at the meal table. The pumpkin is the “queen” of the month, to be used in various dishes. With its intense colour, we have a great desire to eat it in all sauces!

Have you ever tried it with a side dish of sweet potatoes?  The combination is a real treat! For a dinner in company, on one of these autumn evenings, we recommend combining Kioene mini vegan burgers with pumpkin and carrots with a side dish of sweet potatoes. This ancient food, used mainly in traditional American cuisine and in English-speaking countries, is now well-known all over the world.

  1. Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly under running water.
  2. Dry them well and cut them into sticks, just like classic French fries.
  3. Arrange them in one layer, on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  4. Sprinkle them with mixed spices and a pinch of table salt.
  5. Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 175°C for 15 minutes and remember to turn them halfway through cooking with the help of a small spatula.
  6. When they are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, take them out of the oven and serve them with our mini vegan burger with pumpkin and carrots in a tasty sandwich.
