  • 2 oranges
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • pepper
  • salt
  • 4 fennels
  • 2 packs of veggie beetroot balls

For those who love this quick and simple dish, we have an original solution. A combination of flavours that will certainly not make you miss summer salads.

 

Fennels and oranges. You can use these ingredients typical of the winter season to make a delicious recipe to accompany veggie beetroot balls. Strong flavours with a touch of sweetness so you can enjoy a winter dinner with friends.

 

Method

  1. Remove the hard outer leaves of the fennels, wash them well and cut them into thin slices.
  2. Peel the oranges and cut them into slices or wedges.
  3. Cook the veggie beetroot balls in a pan or in the oven, following the instructions on the pack.
  4. Put the oranges and fennels in a salad bowl.
  5. Season with a little oil, a pinch of salt and a little black pepper.
  6. Serve the salad with the beetroot balls.
  7. To make this dish tastier, you can add some walnuts or pumpkin seeds. If you prefer an even stronger taste, you can add some sultanas to the mix, after soaking them in orange juice.
